1. Mill City Museum

Mill City Wedding

Mill City Museum is a stunningly raw wedding venue in Minneapolis that ticks all the boxes when looking for a location that is modern, and unique. As the name suggests, this venue on the banks of the Mississippi River was once an old flour mill, and thanks to some miraculous renovations it has now been restored as a 21st century event space. The beautiful thing about their renovation work is that they didn’t re-build it, they restored it and in doing so retained the history of this proud building. As a wedding venue it has room for up to 1000 guests within their many designated event spaces, the most popular being the incredible outdoor courtyard. If you’re looking for industrial chic in the heart of Minneapolis, then look no further than The Mill City Museum.

Using this exposed brick as their canvas, the talented team at Aria have elevated their space with the addition of multiple crystal chandeliers, hanging fairy lights and touches of modern art throughout. The venue was once a theater, so the acoustics are incredible and all the original rigging for lighting is still in place, so if you’re planning on making your first dance a masterpiece of light and sound, Aria is for you!

4. International Market Square

Another one of our wedding venues on the edge of downtown Minneapolis, International Market Square. This is the spot for the artsy couple who desire something a little different from their big day. As wedding photographers, we love the scale of this expansive, and historic Minneapolis landmark. It is a venue that may be large, but still feels intimate and never gloomy, thanks to the huge glass panels in the ceiling, offering a flood of light all year round.

5. Loring Social

The alternate space at Loring Social is The Waverly Room, much loved by our wedding videographers for its breathtaking views of Minneapolis and its otherworldly elegance that comes across just so well on film.
